About Me................

OK.....Time to introduce myself.  My name is Bec and I am from Tasmania, Australia.  I am a married mother of 2 children (and one big kid husband :)

An Introduction to my family:

My husband (DH) and I have been together for 15 years, married for 12.  We celebrate our 13th anniversary this year on the 11/11/13.  We actually celebrated our 11th anniversary on the 11/11/11!!  Makes it easy for DH to remember.  DH and I met in Karate class.  He was a black belt that I admired from afar.  I was a young yellow belt who was still finding her way.  I decided to take the plunge and I asked one of the female Black Belts to let him know I was interested, and the rest as they say is history. (I'll expand on this in a later post.  It makes for interesting reading!)

My daughter (DD) is currently 13 going on 23!!  She is an extremely talented young woman.  She draws Japanese Anime!  I will have to post some of her drawings at some time as they are really good!  My DD is very special to me as she was conceived around the time my darling Pop Foster died and then 9 1/2 months later was born on his birthday!

My Son (DS) is a very young man of 6.  He was born with no hair, but soon grew a large mass of golden curls and was often mistaken for a girl!! He currently wears his hair short like his daddy and often asks DD and I if we are his best friend!  He was held back a year due to developmental delays, but now seems to be thriving in his new group of friends.

Me.... Well, I wont say how old I am.  A lady never tells! I am an extremely patriotic Australian who protects her family fiercely.  I work full time in Business Adminstration (can't say where) and I also have started by own Virtual Administration Business called Queen of Admin.  I love organising, stationery and filofaxes.  I will post photos of my office area.  The amount of post its and flags I have is LARGE!!

I will expand on my family at a later post, as well as talk about the other loves of my life, and whatever is happening in my world!

Here it is....... I have read so many blogs on the internet, mainly Filofax blogs and I am now taking the plunge and starting to write my own blog. 

This won't always be about my growing family of Filofaxes.  Whatever is prominent in my life at the moment; from my Volunteer FireFighter husband, my daughter who is 13 going on 23 years old, or my son and his ongoing speech therapy and developmental problems.

Besides my family, my greatest interests....cough**addictions**cough........ are Filofaxes, stationery and my Virtual Admin business called "Queen of Admin".

Alright.....still there........HANG ON FOR THE RIDE!!!
